Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine using hair thin, single-use needles to stimulate blood flow throughout the body.
There are channels of blood, lymph and nerve flow throughout the body called meridians. Along these meridians there are many acupuncture points. Depending on the chief complaint and ailments you are being seen for, specific points will be needled or stimulated to achieve a desired effect.
During your treatment the acupuncturist will give a thorough intake followed by a diagnosis and treatment.
Acupuncture has been around for thousands of years, and is recognized by the World Health Organization in treating dozens of ailments.
